Peter Cunningham: here we go now

Councilman Peter Cunningham announces:

We will be up and out very early tomorrow morning.  While there will
be updates from time to time, I’ll take this opportunity to thank you
all for the continuous support and encouragement from over the last
four years, to the last couple of months and days.  Because of you –
the power of the people of Hoboken, with a new majority council, our
best years are right here at our doorstep.  Let’s focus on the prize,
and block out all the negativity and lies from my opponents.  Vote for
honest government, Leadership you can Trust, and VOTE 1C – to re-elect
Councilman Cunningham to the 5th Ward City Council.  Thank you!!

Hoboken Revolt disavows Scott Delea's false charge against Councilman Peter Cunningham

Hoboken Revolt announces:

Hoboken Revolt
The Hoboken Tax Reform Coalition
A message to all members of Hoboken Revolt
The Steering Committee of Hoboken Revolt would like to set the record straight about a recent statement made by Scott Delea, candidate for Hoboken City Council in the 5th Ward. Mr. Delea is a former member of the Hoboken Revolt steering committee. In his statement, Mr. Delea said, "As a founding member of Hoboken Revolt and Lower Hoboken Taxes, I led the fight against corruption and higher taxes after Councilman Cunningham's failure to pass a budget led to a 78% tax increase." Mr. Delea was a key member of the steering committee, although not a founding member of the original organization. The founding members can attest to the fact that Revolt was created to address years of corruption and fiscal mismanagement that resulted in the massive tax increase. The objective was to hold the council members accountable for their actions.

At no time did Hoboken Revolt lay any blame on Councilman Cunningham or other members of the Council who voted against passage of the underfunded budget. Quite the opposite. We supported those council members who had the courage to reject yet another underfunded and bloated budget.

Our mission continues to focus on responsible fiscal management and transparency in government that benefits the city of Hoboken.

Now it's Hoboken411 stealing from MSV

The muddy behavior of the Mason-Russo cabal continues with a new theft, this time by Beth Mason's favorite website, Hoboken411.  MSV received notice Hoboken411 is repeating earlier folly stealing the same photo Scott Delea used in a recent 5th ward mailing.

Messages have been sent to Perry Klaussen, Hoboken's smearmeister king by both email and voicemail.
He's facing the same problem for theft as Scott Delea, stealing the exact same photo for the Mason411 minion to use in its latest hit piece.

Hoboken411 has stolen this photo from MSV.
The slight cropping alteration does not disguise the copyright theft.
The Mason411 sewer actions are continuing into election day tomorrow.

Posted in the previous story on Scott Delea's photo theft is the ORIGINAL link with the posted cost per view for unauthorized use of MSV's photos and stories. For online violations, it's $5.00 per view.

The use of the Peter Cunningham photo does not qualify for fair use either by council candidate Scott Delea or with cropped alteration by Perry Klaussen of Hoboken411.

Talking Ed Note:  It's not secret MSV has given notice already to Scott Delea and the lengthy timeline for him to even respond only came after MSV posted a story about the unauthorized photo use.  That being no secret, it's remarkable Perry Klaussen would also be willing to have his name added to a potential legal complaint.  Doing so, is hardly difficult in a filing.

Thanks for being a dirtbag Perry. Just tell Beth Mason you need a little extra money for your helping her campaign slate.

Unlike the previous theft of an MSV in 2009, Hoboken411 has not removed this photo.  You don't need to wait for an election.  Once again, character has a way of making itself known.

MSV is again contacting the attorney.  Perhaps this is just considered a petty cost by the Queen of Transparency.  Well please extend our gratitude for the donation.

The Final Push in the 1st is on!

Less than 24 hours to go before election day! Don't forget to vote 1B (B for better). If you have a couple hours to volunteer, email kurtaforcouncil@gmail.com and stop by our campaign office at 1st and Willow.

Beth Mason's last gasp: one more Mason411 smear and midnight flyer for the road

One day left before Hoboken's critical council wide elections and Beth Mason's online smear machine Hoboken411 is back into overdrive taking one more shot to both knock off her opponent Tom Greaney and depress voter turnout with its usual negative fare.

After last week's revelation by her former campaign manager of her announced disinterest in the 2nd ward, an attack flyer attacking him appeared the next day and just for fun, her people have responded to the revelations about her less than flourishing 12 year business she trumpeted with links to her hired consulting firm's office in Lyndhurst, NJ by attacking Grafix Avenger in a new flyer last night.  (It was pre-announced by GA's Russo insider Deep Uvula too.)

None of this matters unless it distracts you from the work needed to Get Out The Vote (GOTV).  This is what determines election results and your efforts now though Tuesday 8:00 pm are what matters.  If you have any time, it's more valuable than any amount of money to elect good candidates to protect the integrity of this town.  Just engaging people, your friends, your neighbors to vote is the difference from Hoboken going back to black and white "On the Waterfront," past or moving forward in the 21st century in spectacular Blu-Ray.

Reform is a grass roots operation, not a money powered, we buy elections with tons of paper ballot votes that works like a drug cartel business.

You will determine Hoboken's future.  Or you will allow Beth Mason's political operatives to impact the vote just enough to keep her and her illegal majority on the City Council operating.  That's not a typo - her council majority is based on a lie: the illegal installation of Tim Occhipinti via massive voter fraud.

So it comes down to YOUR VOICE.  Or if you don't defend this fine Republic where Hoboken actually appears on a map within its borders, you may turn it over to Beth Mason's continued operation such as seen on Mason411 against Hoboken.

Here's Beth Mason's friend Lane Bajardi who is the first voice of her cancer spread at every turn, even backing Peter Cammarano here not a day before his arrest.  After Beth Mason's crushing defeat in the 2009 spring mayoral race, some of her political operatives took up with Peter Cammarano: call it a career saving move.

Well Mason411 has done its filthiest worst, now it's the voter's turn.  Or do you want to let people like this dictate its future?

Don't be distracted:

GOTV - GET OUT THE VOTE!

Talking Ed Note: Not a day after the article on Scott Delea's campaign heist of MSV's Peter Cunningham photo on his mailer appeared here, he finally responded several days later (but not by phone) via email to say he'll have his people look into the copyright issue, but he's unclear what's it about.  Way to man up, that's integrity Scott.  Not!

How to Delea a Thief?

This even though he's put out only one flyer and it isn't hard to determine the origins of the photographs he himself used and approved.  Or is someone else running Scott Delea's campaign?  Let us know who those people are and MSV will be happy to follow up on the latest remake of "To Catch a Thief."

Alrighty then.  Da Horsey wrote back regarding Scott Delea's people "and said they can get back to my people.  (I've already contacted my attorney Alex Booth.)  We've asked how many copies of the flyer with the unauthorized MSV photo went out but we're not holding our horse breath awaiting a reply.

When a thief is caught red handed, they run - the other way.  So we're not taking the passive aggressive email response too seriously.  After the law catches up though, we'll see about that.

Is a Scott Delea remake in order?

Mayor: City Council working with me is critical to Hoboken's progress

Dear Friends,

Please take the time to vote in tomorrow’s critically important
City Council Election, and bring your friends and neighbors out
to the polls with you.
I want to keep moving our City ahead, but I need a Council
that will work with me.

Please vote for the future of our City by voting for:
Eric Kurta – 1st Ward
Tom Greaney – 2nd Ward
Greg Lincoln – 3rd Ward
Rami Pinchevsky – 4th Ward
Peter Cunningham – 5th Ward
Jen Giattino – 6th Ward

The future of our City is truly at stake.
Over the last two years we have made tremendous progress.
Despite continuing to pay dearly for the costly mistakes of the past,
we’ve introduced a budget with a 10% tax cut and a 5% cash reserve,
so we can lower borrowing costs and taxes in years to come.

We’ve changed our City’s approach to development, ending
years of overdevelopment in which developers profits were put
ahead of the needs of our residents.

We’ve transformed our Parking Utility from an agency where
almost $1 million of quarters disappeared to an agency that provides
innovative transportation solutions like the HOP and Corner Cars,
making Hoboken easier to get around both for people who own cars,
and people who do not.

We are well on our way to saving our hospital and releasing
the city from its $52 million bond obligation, but I am going to
need a Council that will work with me, not against me.  The current
sales agreement is the ONLY way we can save our struggling hospital.

Our Progress is fragile.  It has come against strong opposition
from City Council members who would like to turn back the clock
to a time when subsidizing things for the connected few was what
government did.

We have close elections in every Ward, so please call and
email your friends throughout the City and encourage
them to  vote.
With your help, we can win back the opportunity to keep the
progress going.

Thanks very much for your support.

Remember when...

Tim Occhipinti had a lot to say about a lot of things, lately it's mostly taking credit for the work of others in the Administration while voting against almost all of it in lockstep with the Russo-Mason cabal.

If you can believe it wasn't that long ago he was decrying street money and talking about ELEC and had the gall to say he follows "the spirt and letter of the law," even while assembling an army of paid voters, uhm "campaign workers," approaching 600 people - just about 50% of his vote!

Perhaps he just doesn't mean American election law.  There's a banana republic south down yonder somewhere else he's thinking.  We hear Richard Dreyfuss went for a visit there once and became President.

See Tim does have a future.
