Director Sacs explains $4.5 million loss to Hoboken due to MORTe sabotage

Director Ian Sacs was called upon by Councilwoman Jen Giattino to spell out the issue of Hoboken losing $4.5 million for the community due to the intransigence of Beth Mason, Michael Russo, Terry Castellano and Tim Occhipinti to provide one vote among them to refinance the taxable portion of the midtown garage after the hospital was sold.

Their refusal to do so needlessly cost Hoboken $4.5 million.  Occhipinti attempted to repeat his earlier utterances saying he understood the issue differently based on former BA Arch Liston's remarks.  Russo attempted to sweep away criticism but did so with no substance on the matter.
