NJ rules: To vote by email or fax - you must make a request by 5:00 today!

How to vote by email and fax if you can't make the polls.

Okay, you've been through a lot and you need to figure out how this vote by email and fax thing works.

It's not too complicated but the first step is the most important.  You need to contact the Hudson County Board of Elections and request a ballot be sent to you via email by 5:00 PM TODAY!

Once you do that, you're 50% done.

The ballot for email or fax back to Hudson County will look like a typical Vote-by-Mail ballot but you will print it out and sign it with an ORIGINAL SIGNATURE.

It must be an original signature, not a scanned version. Note you've been displaced when you do return your ballot.

Then you will email or fax it back.
