Putting the Y back in Hoboken's YMCA

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Many of you have seen the scaffolding up around the Y, heralding our construction project and the renaissance of this important community resource – our beloved YMCA.

As we work on our first phase of renovations and plan for our second, we hope you will  join your friends and neighbors at a not-to-be-missed buffet dinner to kick-off the spring season!  Dance to the tunes of “Swingadelic” at this amazing Liberty State Park venue with parking and unparalleled views:  www.libertyhouserestaurant.com.

Tickets are $150 each ($1250.00 for a table of ten) and may be purchased online through:www.brownpapertickets.com/event/224671 ($59.76 tax deductible if purchased at full price).

Please help spread the word to make the evening a big success!  I hope you can attend and if not, that you’ll consider making a tax-deductible contribution at this time.

Cheers!

Hoboken411 more than 17,000 times wrong with successful Fire Fundraiser for victims of 300 Washington

The Hoboken Rotary presented a check for $17,305.87 to the 17 victims of the fire at 300 Washington Street on Friday.  Organizer Rory Chadwick and host Joe Branco were also present and a bake sale held at RE/MAX last week added to the final tally.

For everyone who stood up and was counted, congratulations on your work toward a fine community effort.

That's more than 17,000 positive thumbs up!
