Michael Russo lunch confidante and FBI Informant Solomon Dwek gets six years

Hoboken has been on fire with the ugly Nazi Truck scandal gaining national renown thanks to Old Guard leadership and now it's Solomon Dwek, the FBI informant and lunch time companion of Councilman Michael Russo making the news.

Yesterday, Dwek received a six year prison sentence for his crimes in a $50 million check-kiting scheme.  The sentence puts a finishing note on Operation Bid Rig III, a scandal involving marketing human organs and garden style NJ corruption snaring over several dozen people, mostly public officials.

Solomon Dwek, the FBI informant received six years for his crimines.
In Hoboken, he discussed illicit payments with Peter Cammarano,
Michael Schaefer, Michael Russo, and Angel Alicea.
Dwek also met with Beth Mason.

A lot of Hudson County made its way into the federal sting and Michael Russo made some sterling FBI video agreeing to a series of bribes with the FBI informant.  It's never been proven one way or another what transpired after and questions remain unanswered if Russo flipped and became a "good rat" taking an envelope of cash or a check he asked be made out to "Russo for Hoboken."

Russo recently declined to make the banks statements public from his controversial campaign account during that period, choosing to provide a limited view to the Hudson Reporter.

But it's Solomon Dwek's turn to do his time and count his blessings he isn't spending a longer spell behind the Fed's bars.

Talking Ed Note: Why Russo chooses not to clear his name is anyone's guess.  But Hoboken will always have the FBI surveillance tapes of him countering the lies he put forward about the whole sordid affair.  It was released as a direct result of MSV's reports and means Councilman Michael Russo may be a cannibal king in the third ward, eating as much taxpayer loot in one form or another as he can get his hands on but he'll not be running for mayor in Hoboken.  Now now, and likely not ever.

Move Forward co-campaign manager John Castellano 'Nazi truck not us but we denounce Pincus just like them'

The Hudson Reporter just got on board the Move Forward Nazi Truck Express and published the first comments on the swastika application by the moving 100 year Reich vehicle.

While it's another denial from the other co-campaign manager, this time John Castellano not Joe Branco, the denial is not total in the language from the press release.

According to the Hudson Reporter, the release said:

"The Move Forward campaign is not responsible for the video truck or content it was playing outside of the Hoboken BOE meeting. We do not support sensationalism of that nature; however, we also do not condone Ms. Pincus' long history of inappropriate behavior on her blog."

Then the Move Forward slate continued with this money shot against Grafix Avenger:
(John) Castellano said Pincus should not protest the use of an image she has used.

"Our position is simple," he said. "We denounce the bully tactics used by Ms. Pincus, and we call on Kids First to do the same."

In case you didn't get the message here, Move Forward is ON BOARD with the Beth Mason type scorched earth tactics repeating the attacks on Grafix Avenger using the same language.

If that's not an admission against interest, Da Horsey doesn't know what is.

For the record, the image is owned and copyrighted by Mile Square View not Grafix Avenger.  As far as Da Horsey knows, it's never appeared on her website.

MSV admits the graphic was used here to point out the vile Nazi like behavior of Beth Mason's sponsored website Hoboken411.
And darn proud of it.

Grafix Avenger was contacted by the Hudson Reporter and she cleared a statement from her lawyer but none of it was posted in their story. You can read it here:

http://grafixavenger.blogspot.com/2012/10/statement-to-hoboken-reporter.html

Last, Hoboken Patch posted a tepid and weak post on the Nazi fishing expedition by the Old Guard's Move Forward team.  Of some note though, it's been picked up by the AOL parent company's Huffington Post.

Yesterday, the NY Daily News was looking at the story in these parts. Not sure how much longer Beth Mason's Nazi truck efforts will escape further scrutiny.

The Move Forward kickoff was just held and they're making a splash with a Nazi themed truck video making the rounds gaining national attention. While John Castellano, co-campaign manager (far right) is denying responsibility for the truck and video, he and Move Forward have embraced the attacks on Grafix Avenger with the exact "denounce" language from the midnight flyer and Nazi themed video.
Thank you Beth!

Talking Ed Note: Beth Mason has doubled down on the Nazi swastika ugly and it's her calling the shots for Move Forward and most definitely not John Castellano with a big investment in the BoE slate. Someone authorized the use of the Nazi truck.

Condolences to the Castellano family.  (Hope you get paid enough for this when it's all over.)
Oh and John Castellano, the Queen of Mean stole MSV's copyright and we gotz to get paid!  Love to Terry!

Beth Mason takes on the law with $7,000 illegal Move Forward campaign contribution in Board of Education election

Beth Mason's"friends" group ploughs thousands of illegal dollars into the Move Forward BoE slate

Hoboken's pay to play anti-wheeling ordinance is the law of the mile square land but not if Beth Mason has her way allegedly flouting it as so much tissue paper.

The evidence cited in NJ ELEC reports show a $7,000 contribution to the Old Guard backed Move Forward BoE slate made from a "Friends of Beth Mason" committee.

The monies given, when confirmed are illegal since last year's passage of the campaign reform "anti-wheeling legislation" limit campaign committees to giving $500 in Hoboken elections.

Beth Mason returned from being AWOL at the last council meeting Wednesday night.
She left early claiming illness before her illegal campaign contributions to the Move Forward
BoE slate came up.  Well that's transparent.

Beth Mason has used an earlier campaign committee to wheel larges sums of money, most pointedly 15K or more in the 4th ward special election installing Tim Occhipinti into the fourth ward seat in late 2010.

According to an inquiry raised by Councilman Ravi Bhalla, filed NJ ELEC reports show Mason has moved funds illicitly with a new campaign committee not passing muster in even its name, "Friends of Beth Mason."  The address Mason is using are her longstanding political operatives who hosted the previous Mason committee address.

Beth Mason along with her Old Guard council allies fought against the legislation in 2011 over months, decrying it repeatedly as being illegal and threatening to go to court to stop it.  The ordinance became effective last July when Councilwoman Jen Giattino made the determinative vote after taking office last in July 2011.

Beth Mason and the strident protests by her lackey Tim Occhipinti went nowhere and no legal challenge was ever made.

Corporation Counsel Melissa Longo responding to Council President Peter Cunningham's inquiry on the issue said a legal memorandum will be prepared for review and address the matter.

The BoE election is scheduled for November 6th.

Here are the full, unedited comments by Ravi Bhalla during new business.  Beth Mason left the meeting claiming illness earlier. The video runs just under five minutes.

An email has been sent to Beth Mason email accounts asking for explanation.  Don't hold your breath.  MSV wishes any others attempting to do so good luck.  Mason will be back hiding and unavailable no doubt.  Perhaps try her other old guard council allies, you could get lucky.

Talking Ed Note: Law?  Beth Mason doesn't need to heed any stinking law.  MSV doesn't need a legal finding to know this is a flagrant and transparent move by Beth Mason on behalf of the Old Guard to take over the Hoboken Board of Education.

Several times in recent years, Beth Mason claimed the City Council should stay out of the Board of Education and not interfere.  She even told that to MSV in an interview after a council meeting once.

Then her family's money showed up on an ELEC report with both her and her husband Ricky Mason making a maximum contribution toward undoing Kids First.

Now Beth Mason is just flagrantly breaking the law.  If you want to know why Grafix Avenger is so targeted, she's moved from political satire and banana bread recipes to uncovering a host of shady and distilled corrupt expenditures at the Hoboken BoE.  Her stories on everything from phones being given out like candy to phantom employees and unexplained expenditures in the tens of thousands has created some real agita among the Old Guard.

If you don't have children in the district, you should consider how the Old Guard and Beth Mason's family expenditures are going to the mattresses in this election.

There's nothing beyond the pale here: SLAPP suits, midnight flyers, illegal campaign transactions.  Beth Mason and her Old Guard allies are all in.

Call Beth Mason and her allies transparent, just don't call them corrupt.

Actual copy of the NJ ELEC filing.  Beth Mason is blatantly flouting the law and the Hoboken BoE race
is not over.  You can bet the illegal transfer of monies into the election aren't over either.

Sign of the Times: The ugly street attack video hits City Council

Outside the City Council at City Hall and right across the street by Carlo's Bakery stood the big blue truck, again blaring out its video message of hate, lies and scurrilous victim hood, courtesy of a certain councilwoman's checkbook and her Hudson County dirty tricks political operatives.

MSV has viewed, obtained the video and can confirm it's an absolute continuation of the attacks appearing in the midnight flyer last week and follows a line of attack familiar to most readers and observers of Hoboken politics.  In other words, it has all the tell tales signs of a Beth Mason operation.

The video doesn't only attack Grafix Avenger but takes ugly turns poking at others in Reform:
  • 5th ward Councilman Peter Cunningham  (false accusations)
  • 6th ward Councilwoman Jen Giattino (flat out distortions and lies)
  • Mayor Dawn Zimmer (a typical potshot)
  • Each member of the current Kids First BoE commissioners (false claims about their graphic artist)
  • and of course the star of the show is Grafix Avenger.  (you knew that was coming.)

The video wants you to know it seeks civility (stop laughing) and that the victims are:
Beth Mason and her political operatives.

Let's also give one commenter their due.  There are no facts, this latest in a preplanned operation originated with Move Forward.  It's far bigger than that.  Based on the timeline and investment here, (illegal too - more on that later) the candidates of Move Forward didn't get to work on any of these materials.  They are just along for the ride.  Yikes!

Okay, Mason and her political operatives may want the public to know it's time for Peter Cunningham, Jen Giattino, the mayor and all BoE trustees of Kids First; you must denounce, denounce, denounce.

If you remain "silent" to the Masonic agenda, well expect more fabrications and if you hold out maybe they'll put an ad in the Hudson Reporter or the ugly video may show up on Hoboken411.  This won't be a pile of SuperBowl lies either.  These will be far more... entertaining?

Cuz ya know, none of this is transparent.  Not in Hoboken nor anywhere in Hudson County.

Hey look, it's the blue truck with not one but two Perry Klaussen's and his Nazi swastika fishing techniques at a urinal.
Beth Mason left the council meeting early.  Maybe she wanted to catch the last viewing.

More on the meeting with evident legal action against the council backfill appointment and some truly illegal money funding the Move Forward BoE slate courtesy of... you guessed it Beth Mason's family otherwise now known under the (illegal?) moniker "Friends of Beth Mason."

As if.

Talking Ed Note:  This photo taken from the steps of City Hall occurred while Tim Occhipinti was entering the building.  Da Horsey pointed out the "work" of his friends saying "good job Tim" and he looked frightened as if he saw a ghost.  He wouldn't even turn and look.  Is it possible Tim Occhipinti actually feels embarrassed?  Or is he just unhappy to see Da Horsey back exposing the truth?

That's no ghost Tim, that's the work of your patron.  This is scorched earth politics to get their hands on the $63 million BoE budget.  Beth Mason and her corruptocrat Old Guard are all in for Move Forward.

Hey, a lot of time and money went into this!  It's clear in looking at this from a thousand feet, the SLAPP suit, this political operation, the new political lines trotted out online - it's all tied together.

Let's give evil and the dark forces of the underworld their due.  Working hard, making copies.

Early in the AM, we're hijacking one comment, well the first part by Infotainme.

It's pretty clear what happened. A negative campaign was planned and put into motion to make GA the Willie Horton of Kids First. All capital investment, media planning, etc, was locked in some time ago.

1000s of fliers & scores of midnight distributors. Nazi truck. New online pop-up bloggers. Nazi truck stories magically not appearing on Patch or the HR, as they lack the relevance to the average citizen of , say, Ravi Bhalla's traffic ticket. The usual goon squad operations at work.

The whole op was founded on the unvalidated assumption that GA was the graphic artist for Kids First. They planned to spend the weeks before the election trying to drive a wedge between KF and its graphic artist.

But the core assumption turned out not to be true. Like any reform-minded person (even faux reformer Bwaaaa...), GA supports KF. But doesn't work for the campaign in any capacity. Now what would Team Move Forward do?

Well, unfortunately, they had already paid for and scheduled the 1000s of fliers & scores of midnight distributors and the Nazi truck and the new online pop-up bloggers. So they decided to go ahead an use it anyway, even though now it amounts to the vilification of an individual voter with no formal ties to KF.

Meanwhile GA continues to lay out the case against Team Move Forward on her blog. With facts - like Mason's ELECs and the deplorable details of the BOE audit which gives the best representation of what Team Move Forward is like when they control the purse. ZimmerLover for one loves facts, so he should be delighted by her factual analysis. I have not heard him or anyone else dispute a single word. Dyfs and turds I hear about ad infinitum. I'm thinking of starting a band and calling it The Dyfus Turds and seeing how many people from Team Move Forward come to my shows...

Fast forward to today, Team Move Forward has inadvertently broadcast to as many casual voters as possible that they should go check out www.grafixavenger.blogspot.com

Actually, this is very true based on an offline conversation with one long time area reporter who observed in our discussion on the SLAPP, "This is all about the election."

If only they would write about it. Well what can you do?  MSV thinks it's the job of reporters to report but they have some odd rules on this saying others need to bring it up.

In case they haven't noticed, MSV has been doing it for a good while now.  Da Horsey is almost immune to the contradictions.  Almost.
