Grist for the Mill: Carmelo Garcia presser to admit his secretly recording conversations cancelled

Over the weekend a rumor floated from the dark side about a Monday press event where a narrative was being spun to take heat off a weeks long discussion of one Carmelo Garcia allegedly taping others including one former statewide prominent official.

The event would be an admission Garcia had in fact been guilty of taping others and the tape was holding dynamite material that would lead to the mayor being forced to resign.  Shades of FBI informant Solomon Dwek setting up meetings across New Jersey.

Lots of chatter over the weekend about local media being called in Monday to hear Carmelo Garcia perform his most masterful spin ever with excerpts of a tape and transcript.

It didn't happen.

According to Grafix Avenger, Carmelo Garcia got cold feet, re: chickened out.  At least one other senior official's head exploded when he heard Garcia was running a little recording studio on his person. That official would be the selector of the Hoboken Assembly seat, the State Senator and Union City Mayor Brian Stack.

Lots of background chatter all around Hudson County about a code being broken beyond repair and how to fix the problem re: get rid of King Rat.

Grafix Avenger has more on the wired pollo:

Some are calling Carmelo Garcia a chicken for not holding
a rumored presser Monday about his taping officials.
Others across Hudson County are calling Garcia King Rat.

Talking Ed Note: Carmelo Garcia was contacted with a request of his tape(s) and transcript but did not provide the goods for this story.
