MSV announces 2015 annual subscription drive

From the first interview with the late fiscal state monitor Judy Tripodi, "Taxes are going DOWN!" what senior City officials called decisive to the outcome of the November 2009 mayoral election, this website's impacted Hoboken in a major way.

That story stalled a final operation in progress by the Beth Mason for Mayor campaign claiming Acting Mayor Dawn Zimmer had a plan to raise taxes.

Since 2009, there's been scores of exclusives, political operations uncovered with growth beyond tens of thousands of visitors a month. MSV is a unique online reform David taking on Goliath - and winning.

Which explains the almost half-dozen phony court charges filed against this website in the last five years. (MSV has a trial date set May 28 in Jersey City with Councilwoman Beth Mason taking on the latest court pursuit of this horse.)

Our Mile Square City is an island of reform in the belly of the HudCo beast.  It's reason to take pause and not with a little pride. The victories are not ours alone; it belongs to everyone and of course this city we call home.

With reform's rise under the stewardship of Mayor Dawn Zimmer, Da Horsey has been repeatedly threatened, assaulted (even within feet of the silently approving "civic" employer) and absorbed false witness borne out in repeated court actions seeking to keep critical information from reaching the Hoboken public.

Despite the pernicious perjury-riddled attacks, this website has never wavered or faltered and continued to publish week in and week out even in the face of a failed two and half year civil lawsuit by Beth Mason political operatives.

With November elections for six City Council seats approaching the gains in Hoboken are at risk and MSV needs your support to stave off the latest Beth Mason charges, retain a safe haven for public comment without fear of SLAPPy reprisals and/or seeing commenters private information handed out to Old Guard/Beth Mason political operatives.

In the marketplace of ideas, the First Amendment should not face liquidation by enemies of speech in our Mile Square.
