Hoboken Homeless Shelter Hosts Eleventh Annual Benefit
Silent Auction & Tricky Tray will Help the Homeless in Hoboken
For the 13th year, The Hoboken Shelter will host one of the community’s most popular December events, its Silent Auction & Tricky Tray Fundraiser. The event features items from Hoboken’s best stores and restaurants as well as other fabulous prizes, all in Hoboken’s most unique venues, Teak on the Hudson, featuring the most sought-after view of the New York City skyline in Hoboken.
The 13th Annual Silent Auction & Tricky Tray Fundraiser will take place Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at REIGN (92 River Street, Hoboken, NJ) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will go to support the Shelter’s mission of being a community partnership that transforms lives by providing meals for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and services to support people to become housed. “Our Silent Auction is always the Holiday Season’s leading fundraiser for the Shelter,” says Jaclyn Cherubini, Executive Director of the Hoboken Shelter, “last year we were able to serve 10,000 meals with the money raised by celebrating friends, food, and fun.” The event will feature a light buffet and drink specials for a donation of $30 at the door, or tickets may also be purchased in advance online at https://goo.gl/h2tekA.
The annual event is one of the Shelter’s most popular fundraisers, in previous years raising as much as $19,000 to benefit the homeless.
