Hoboken council trades blows over NHSA, zoning board appointments
MSV Talking Ed Note: Councilman Mike DeFusco clashed with both City Council President Jen Giattino and Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher in what may be a preliminary brawl to Hoboken's election season.
The first clash came on the appearance of the NHSA commissioner selection Ed Freidrich and later a clash followed with Councilman DeFusco pointing to what he alleged are illegal actions by council members reviewing Zoning Board candidates.
"We can not tell Zoning Board members how to vote," Councilman Mike Defusco said.
This led to Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher taking the floor to counter the allegation on a proper approach discussing philosophy with potential candidates.
