In the words of that famous tax evader Bono, there's been a lot of talk, maybe too much talk about.....
|Coming soon to a megadevelopment near you? Can Councilman Hamburglar D Variance his way into the mayor's office?|
Mike DeFusco is taking lots of heat for promoting a lower Washington St. development in the guise of a burger joint.
Can one suffer the slings and arrows of a Shake Shack burger with an overgrown building, a permanent fixture courtesy of some beefy building variances?
Councilman Mike DeFusco, himself a veteran of the Zoning Board and a friend to D variance seeking developers everywhere finds himself in a peculiar pickle. Or did he say hold the pickle? It's getting difficult to keep up with the Hoboken melodrama as election season begins to take its toll on Mile Square residents who dare to put a toe in those waters.
The beatdown has been horrific on Grafix Avenger, utter savagery above and below the fold in the bountiful anonymous comment section. A Hamburglar Jihad is clearly begun, praise be upon him, and a twitter war has taken over after some selective blocking on Facebook. Another colleague caught a Love Shack whiff, was seduced and then discovered he'd been jilted.
Can't we all just get along? Or alternatively meet at the Love Shack where everyone can get together and revel in the Hamburglar.
Funky little shack; funky little shack with a big ass building to boot!
Talking Ed Note: Is this any way to begin a mayoral campaign? Hey, it's more entertaining than reading an ELEC report with people from all around the country who can't help but write multiple thousand dollar checks.
They must be in a famished state seeking a vanilla shake and Hamburglar too.
