Sign of the Times: Streets closed with flash flooding

The extra heavy rains are leading to some street closures and reports of flash flooding.

An Emergency Alert has been issued with a flash flood warning in the area until 4:30.

Flash flooding at Ninth & Madison. The pump is working but overwhelmed.

Another photo from the scene of west side Hoboken. Observer has suffered similar problems.

Another reader submitted photo shows a closure at Monroe and Sixth St.
Other areas are experiencing similar flash flooding with closures.
Entrance of Sinatra Drive is closed at 11th and Hudson too.

Ronald Bautista announces run for mayor

MSV reported earlier Hoboken activist Ronald Bautista filed papers intending to run for mayor.
Yesterday he made it official with a video announcement on Facebook.
