Sikhing the Vote

Ravi Bhalla may be on the cusp of a mayoral win. But the magic of Mike DeFusco Old Guard Vote by Mail may still win the day for him. This may take a bit of time.

Waiting for more results but the big money and power made their effect and there's expectations of some result.

The bottom line, the four way race where the money poured in to Hoboken by the hundreds of thousands of dollars for both the DeFusco and Bhalla campaigns will likely see one the victor.

So we may be living the final moments of the Hoboken era of reform and sovereignty.
Hoboken will likely then be the tool of others combined with local political ambitions.

Update: Ravi Bhalla appears to have held off the VBM run and will win and be Hoboken mayor.
Congratulations to him and the winners of the election.

City Council winners: Vanessa Falco, Jim Doyle and Emily Jabbour.

City Council will seat: Peter Cunningham, Jen Giattino, Tiffanie Fisher, Mike DeFusco, Vanessa Falco, Ruben Ramos, Michael Russo, Jim Doyle and Emily Jabbour come January.

Reform is as clearly seen since June a distant memory now.

Final numbers are pending but Ravi Bhalla is followed by Mike DeFusco, Jen Giattino in third with Anthony "Stick" Romano in fourth among the major campaigns. Karen Nason and Ron Bautista came in with about a couple of hundred votes each.

The BoE slate of Hoboken Proud swept their election knocking off Peter Biancamano and his ticket.

Talking Ed Note: With the huge flow of monies and the partisan ugly attacks leveled, Jen Giattino rose above all the negativity and stayed strong to running a positive campaign vastly outspent by special interests from outside Hoboken.

A party earlier this evening for Team Giattino was packed and there's no regret in standing up for Reform and the principles of the movement back to its rise in 2009. None whatsoever was heard amongst anyone of the dozens in attendance. To a person, everyone said they'd do it all over again. Why not, they were ignored as a movement back in June. Stand up for Hoboken, that's what it's all about.

Bitter Cave Dweller goes Hoboken411 and lies about challenger work

Nancy at Sybil's Cave caught in latest whopper of a lie on a legitimate challenger - the Horse!

Apparently, the lies fed to the public by that flaming asshole Nancy, head cave dweller  knows no bounds.

She put up a picture of an actual challenger, yours truly, who is recognized by the poll authorities and with challenger identification in the 3-1 and claims that voters are being harassed.

Nancy can you sink any lower? Maybe you can but it will be hard.
Nancy Pincus is a bitter "Loser" and a full-fledged liar.

Before you open your mouth and flap ridiculous made up lies, try to have a clue what you are doing before you are proven the absolute lying jerk you've been for months.

Challengers don't harass voters as a practice and are allowed to be in the polling stations they are ASSIGNED! They are also allowed to go to the bathroom in the polling station and go outside for air when things take a lull.

Too bad for Nancy at Sybil's Cave, she's become a worse liar than the worst we've seen on Hoboken411.

Well, we have Nancy's latest stupidity and certified lying making up bullshit out of the way.

Great work Nancy!  Do you ever tire of making shit up?
Wow, you suck really bad.

Election Official: - Hoboken polling station sees "major violation"

Earlier this afternoon, a Hudson County Election Official entered a Hoboken polling station to inquire on the subject of a serious election complaint.

He announced to all in attendance of a "major violation" that is not be repeated.

The incident reportedly is a "lockable offense" according to one reliable source.

More to come.

There is six hours left to legally vote. Get out and vote Hoboken!

Voting explosion in the 6-5

It's a full blown election in process and there's some early word of pocketed enthusiasm.

Hundreds of votes were recorded in the 6-5, the home voting district of the Jen Giattino family after only a few hours of the polls opening.

On the streets, it's a full-out Romano assault. Outside the 4-4, a contingent is out front of the polling station and they are enthused as one said to another, "You wanted a job and I'm getting you paid."

Marine View is very heavy early reports say, the home base of Anthony Romano. In the 4-4 in the heart of the Hoboken Housing Authority, a steady stream of voters into triple figures came in before noon.

There's word of a technical glitch at the 6-1. Lights not going on with an "X" is fine now.

But there's been a report of a "major violation" in another polling station.

The polls are open until 8:00 pm.

Hoboken is not for sale and we're here to show you why!

The political truck was back in action running on Washington Street lambasting Ravi Bhalla the "conflicted politician."
Jen Giattino is the only major mayoral candidate without any conflicts, scandal, special interests or PAC behind her.
She's the Hoboken People's mayoral candidate.
